Danny R. Faught is an independent software quality consultant and the proprietor of Tejas Software Consulting (http://tejasconsulting.com), with ten years of experience in the software industry. He frequently speaks and writes about software quality. Mr. Faught is the co-founder and maintainer of the swtest-discuss mailing list, and the original creator of the comp.software.testing FAQ. He is the webmaster for http://testingfaqs.org, the home of three venerable software testing FAQs. His current projects include researching freeware test tools, developing training courses, and leading an operating system test effort. He publishes a bimonthly newsletter, "Tejas Software Software Consulting News."

Mr. Faught is a member of the Project Management Institute, the IEEE Consultants Network, Jerry Weinberg's SHAPE forum, and a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality. He graduated with honors with a BS in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
